‘Sitting in the bottom of a very deep, dark and cold well. All alone. Looking up at the daylight. You can see the light but no matter what you do, you can’t seem to climb the walls to break out of the darkness into the light . . . This is my representation of depression and how it feels.
As a previous victim of anxiety and depression, I created a not-for-profit organisation called Motivational Inspiration with one sole purpose – to offer support to mental health sufferers and to those lacking in motivation or inspiration.
Through daily tweets, posts, motivational and inspirational videos, holding live streams and from facilitating 1-2-1 sessions with clients, I motivate and inspire many people from all walks-of-life. I reinforce a simple message throughout: “if you believe it, you can achieve it”.
My public speaking, tweets and videos inspire and motivate people, enabling them to set targets and goals, and to give everything they have in order to succeed. My influence has helped many people to focus on themselves, what it is they want out of life and has helped them to realise what really matters the most in life.
The psychology and techniques I use with clients, in addition to my passion and enthusiasm, has inspired many people to face their demons head-on, and to tackle the root cause of any mental health challenges they face. The powerful messages offered, and the ongoing support provided, has resulted in many individuals positively changing their lives.
I was delighted to be presented an annual award by Mind Charity for the work I undertake and was thrilled to be invited to my local radio station for a live interview too. I want to continue my quest to support those with mental health struggles and provide practical solutions to aid their recovery.’
