The University Programme is an exciting new arm of our growing organisation. The Blurred Line Group is proud to launch its nationwide initiative that will give students the freedom to raise funds at their university.
This academic year, we will appoint driven and motivated ambassadors at twelve UK universities and empower them to succeed, as they put the love and fun into fundraising on their campuses. All proceeds from their fundraising efforts will be allocated directly to projects at their university or local community initiatives, supporting those with mental health struggles and promoting positive health and wellbeing.
The University Programme looks forward to engaging with universities across the country and meeting our first twelve representatives.
2020 will see the launch of our new initiative. In our partner universities, an array of fundraising events will take place, ranging from bake sales and music nights, to sponsored sports events and pub quizzes. Being that the project is in its first year, I am really looking forward to seeing how creative our ambassadors are and I’m also looking forward to attending some of the events myself!
Keep track of our social media over the coming weeks as we will soon be welcoming applicants. If you are an entrepreneurial and driven individual with an interest in mental health, you could be an ideal ambassador!
As university students ourselves, the CEO and I both know the value that students can offer to any organisation, which is why we are putting them at the heart of what we do, as they join our mission to bring mental health into focus on university campuses across the UK.
